24 more hours to book in. feels like a nightmare coming true, again.

another countdown spent uneventfully. i guess humans are creatures scared of loneliness. maybe nxt yr might be better. so much for wishes coming true.

anyhow, Happy new year. happy 2008.

*sings* On the first day of christmas i did my guard duty....

finally i get to enjoy my block leave proper. no more seeing monsters i don wan to see for at least a week. yay.

went to see my baby cousin recently. i think she's almost 2 months old now. all babies are cute huh. funny how adults are reduced to infant-like behaviour in front of babies, all of them trying their best to communicate with the baby and doing childish acts, like they are the baby experts around. haha. my grandma was like trying to teach her how to recognise me and my sis, as well as the other family members. must be tough on my cousin. -.-

which got me thinking, when did i first learn to recognise who's my mom and who's my dad. was it 3 months old? 1 year old? 2 years old? how did you know those ppl are your family. there's no txtbook formula for that isnt it. but yet we automatically grow up to address these ppl as our closest relatives.

the human brain is so complex. haha.

I have guard duty on Hari Raya and Christmas eve this month. am so looking forward to countdown to xmas while prowling around the stupid camp.
